A significant collaboration between one of Nigeria’s leading mobility companies and Africa’s premier entrepreneurial reality television show was formally unveiled at a pre-season brunch event in Lagos. The gathering, which drew media executives, corporate partners, former contestants, and influential stakeholders from the entrepreneurship ecosystem, marked the official launch of a partnership designed to fuel business innovation and economic empowerment.

The alliance brings together GIG Mobility and The Next Titan for the show’s 11th season, which carries the compelling theme “Be Relentless” and offers a grand prize of ₦50 million. Contestants will engage in practical business simulations designed to test their innovative thinking, leadership capabilities, strategic decision-making, and resilience under pressure.

Mobility as a Catalyst for Opportunity

Speaking at the unveiling, Jude Odum, Chief Operating Officer of GIG Mobility, articulated the company’s vision for the partnership, emphasizing that it aligns seamlessly with GIG Mobility’s broader mission of creating opportunities through entrepreneurship and economic growth. He framed mobility not merely as the physical movement of people but as a powerful enabler of business development and innovation.

“We invest in entrepreneurs because mobility enables opportunity. At GIG Mobility, moving people has never just been about reaching a physical destination—it is about what that movement makes possible,” Odum explained.

He further noted that within the competition’s cohort of contestants, there are visionary founders whose enterprises have the potential to generate employment for thousands of Nigerians. “If our logistics and support help move even one of those dreams closer to reality, we have accomplished our mission,” he added.

Logistics Backbone for the Competition

Under the terms of the partnership, GIG Mobility will provide comprehensive transportation and logistics support throughout the competition’s duration. This includes dedicated vehicles for the Top 50 Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and seamless movement coordination for contestants, production crews, and organizers during the intensive 10-week filming period across multiple locations.

Organizers highlighted that this arrangement would ensure efficient logistics operations, allowing contestants to remain fully focused on the business challenges and leadership exercises that define the competition without the distraction of logistical concerns.

Beyond the Show: GIG Mobility’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The company also used the platform to showcase its broader commitment to entrepreneurship through several complementary initiatives. These include:

  • The GIGM Ambassador Scheme — A digital referral program that enables participants to earn commissions from interstate bus ticket bookings made through the company’s mobile application.

  • The Drive-to-Own (Owner Captain) Scheme — A structured hire-purchase arrangement that allows eligible interstate drivers to acquire ownership of their operational vehicles after meeting agreed payment milestones.

Additionally, GIG Mobility highlighted its corporate social responsibility efforts, which are channeled through the ESA Foundation. Established in honor of the founders of God Is Good Motors, the foundation supports education, community development, and other social impact initiatives across Nigeria.

Shared Vision for Empowerment

Mide Akinlaja, Executive Producer of The Next Titan, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, describing it as a strategic alignment of values. He noted that both organizations share a common vision of empowering entrepreneurs and nurturing innovative businesses.

According to Akinlaja, GIG Mobility’s involvement extends well beyond logistics support—it represents a deeper commitment to fostering the next generation of African business leaders. The partnership, he said, reflects a mutual understanding that entrepreneurship is a vital engine for job creation, economic diversification, and sustainable development across the continent.

Now entering its 11th season, The Next Titan has established itself as a cornerstone of entrepreneurial development in Africa. Through business simulations, executive coaching, and access to startup funding, the show has discovered and mentored countless aspiring entrepreneurs over the years. With the backing of GIG Mobility, Season 11 promises to be its most impactful edition yet.
