Nobody Claps for the Quiet Years.
Nobody saw the first year you paid salaries before you paid yourself. Nobody saw the month the generator died and the order still shipped. Nobody saw you rebuild after the naira moved, after the landlord moved, after the partner walked.
You survived it. You are still standing. And somewhere along the way, "we're managing" became the only answer you ever give.
MINE 1000 exists to interrupt that. It is a national spotlight built for the founders who did the unglamorous work — documented properly, published permanently, and read by the people who matter.
"The best way to encourage an entrepreneur is to celebrate the hustle — while they're still in it."
MINE 1000 · Made in Nigeria EntrepreneursRecognition Is Not Vanity. It's Infrastructure.
- ✓Credibility compounds. A published, third-party feature does what a pitch deck cannot: it makes the claim for you.
- ✓Capital reads stories. Investors, lenders and accelerators are looking for documented, verifiable Nigerian SMEs. Most founders are invisible to them.
- ✓Talent follows narrative. The people you want to hire want to work for a business with a story worth joining.
- ✓Your archive outlives your ads. The campaign ends. The feature stays online, indexed, and searchable under your name.
- ✓It's a shortlist, not a shout. Every featured founder enters consideration for the MINE 1000 Top 100.
Take the Spotlight — or Give It Away.
MINE 1000 works in two directions. Founders claim their own place in the class. And the people around them — family, clients, partners, employers — nominate and sponsor the founders they believe in.
Reward your own years of hustle.
You've been heads-down long enough. Put your story on record before the next chapter starts.
- An 8-page A4 feature magazine, professionally written and designed around your journey
- A published spotlight article, indexed permanently under your name and your business
- A structured founder profile in Nigeria's largest annual SME story archive
- Automatic entry into the MINE 1000 Top 100 Award consideration pool
- Assets you can use in pitches, proposals, PR and hiring — for as long as you trade
Give a founder the applause they never got.
The most meaningful thing you can give an entrepreneur isn't a gift. It's proof that someone was watching.
- Nominate any founder you believe in — a parent, spouse, mentor, client, supplier or employee
- The full feature is produced end-to-end; you nominate, our editorial team does the rest
- Sponsor recognition carried on their feature and across the published class archive
- Their story enters the same MINE 1000 Top 100 Award consideration pool
- A tribute that lives online permanently — not a plaque that ends up in a drawer
Not a Post. A Published Body of Work.
Every MINE 1000 feature is produced through a guided founder interview, then written, designed, fact-checked and published as a permanent record.

Published Spotlight Article
Your story published and indexed on the Naijapreneur MINE 1000 platform — searchable under your name and your business name, permanently.

Every featured founder in the class enters the pool for the MINE 1000 Top 100 — the annual recognition of the year's strongest stories.

The Founders Who Went First.
The Class of 2026 opened with ten Nigerian founders across media, food, manufacturing, technology and services — each documented, published and archived.
"Visibility is not accidental. It is intentional."
Kehinde Ajose · MINE 0003 · Visibility Solutions MediaBe the Person Who Noticed.
Most Nigerian founders will never be profiled by anyone. Not because the story isn't there — because nobody sat them down and asked.
Sponsoring a MINE 1000 feature is the rare gift that isn't consumed. It's read by their clients. Sent to their children. Found by strangers years from now. And it costs less than the dinner you'd have thrown instead.
For organisations, it's a channel: recognise your best SME customers, portfolio companies, members or suppliers — and be credited in every feature you fund.
The Questions Everyone Asks.
Is this an award or an advert?
Neither. It is an editorial feature. You are interviewed, written about, fact-checked and published — the same way a magazine profiles a business. The Top 100 Award is a separate recognition drawn from the featured class each year.
My business is small. Do I qualify?
Yes. MINE 1000 is deliberately not a list of the biggest businesses in Nigeria. It is a record of 1,000 real ones. Some featured founders started with zero capital. What we need is a genuine operating business and a story you're willing to tell honestly.
How much of my time does this take?
One 35–40 minute conversation, plus a short checklist of photos and details afterwards. You do not fill in a long form. Our team writes, designs and publishes everything else.
What if I'm not comfortable sharing revenue figures?
Financial detail is banded and optional. Nothing is published that you haven't approved. You see the feature before it goes live.
Can I sponsor someone anonymously — or be credited?
Both are available. Sponsors can be named in the feature and across the class, or stay entirely private. You choose at nomination.
What happens after the feature is published?
It stays. The article remains published and indexed under your name, and your profile stays in the class archive. You also receive your magazine files to use however you like.
Why are there only 1,000 spots?
Because the value of the class is the curation. Every feature is individually produced by a small editorial team. One thousand is what we can do properly in a year — and the class closes when it fills.
Celebrate How Far You've Come. Then Go Further.
Your years of hustle deserve more than a quiet nod at the end of the year. Take the spotlight — or hand it to someone who earned it and would never ask.
