eTranzact International Plc, a leading Nigerian fintech firm, has teamed up with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to host a high-impact town hall meeting designed to accelerate financial literacy, digital adoption, and business expansion for micro, small, and medium enterprises across the country.
The one-day forum, slated for August 5, 2026, in Lagos, will assemble a diverse cross-section of stakeholders—entrepreneurs, policymakers, financial institutions, and fintech innovators—to explore actionable strategies for improving financial management, integrating digital payment systems, and unlocking growth opportunities within Nigeria’s rapidly digitizing economy.
A Track Record of SME Support
The initiative is the latest in a series of eTranzact’s sustained investments in Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem. In 2025, the company partnered with the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan Atlantic University to launch the AI Readiness Report for Nigerian SMEs—a groundbreaking study designed to help small businesses understand how to prepare for and leverage artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Additionally, eTranzact’s digital business solution, Credo, has been steadily gaining traction among MSMEs, offering a streamlined platform for collections, payment management, and operational efficiency.
Leadership Perspective
eTranzact’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Niyi Toluwalope, framed the town hall as a natural extension of the company’s core mission: democratizing financial freedom through technology. “Our conviction is simple—when businesses are equipped with the right knowledge, the right digital tools, and access to appropriate financial products, they are far better positioned to scale and generate lasting economic impact. This town hall is another milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting Nigerian MSMEs on their growth journey,” he said.
Toluwalope emphasized that solutions like Credo, combined with strategic collaborations, are giving entrepreneurs practical levers to simplify payment processes, tighten financial controls, and unlock new revenue streams in the digital economy.
SMEDAN’s Commitment
SMEDAN’s Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Charles Odii, echoed those sentiments, describing the partnership as a critical intervention that will arm Nigerian entrepreneurs with practical know-how, strengthen their financial capabilities, and expand their access to digital solutions that drive sustainable business growth.
What to Expect
Organizers have promised a rich program featuring expert-led sessions, interactive panel discussions, and live demonstrations of digital business solutions. The event is open to MSMEs, business associations, financial institutions, fintech companies, and other stakeholders across Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem.
