Fintech firm Proximaforte Ltd has launched its flagship e-commerce marketplace platform, “Oloja by Payxy.” Designed explicitly to bridge the digital visibility gap for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the system enables local merchants to instantly set up unified virtual storefronts and handle transactions using a centralized, link-based infrastructure.
While Payxy operates behind the scenes providing the underlying payment gateway architecture, Oloja serves as the public-facing hub intended to migrate individual merchants out of siloed social commerce environments and into a structured ecosystem built for scale.
The Consolidated Utility Model According to the platform’s developers, the core value proposition of Oloja extends far beyond basic storefront hosting. The interface aggregates several distinct operational utilities into a single dash:
-
Link-Centric Selling: Merchants can distribute their entire digital shop via a single customized web link across channels like Instagram or WhatsApp.
-
Integrated Management: It merges item listings with automated inventory tracking and record-keeping systems tailored to typical micro-business operational leaks.
-
Streamlined Fulfillment: It embeds features aimed at simplifying last-mile delivery and fulfillment tracking directly within the merchant’s portal.
Regulatory and Transactional Architecture Addressing data protection and network integrity, Marketing Manager Damilola Adeniji emphasized that the software prioritizes highly secure protocols and robust payment processing parameters to combat transaction fraud. The solution has already reported early merchant onboarding momentum following its initial deployment.
From an administrative standpoint, Head of Partnerships, Business and Operations Chuks Anitche clarified that the deployment process completely adheres to current financial service regulatory compliance mandates. Merchant registration and setup on Oloja are entirely free of upfront costs, though clearly delineated transaction fee models apply to payments routed through the network. By shifting small businesses toward a collaborative digital distribution framework, the platform aims to establish frictionless cross-border retail trade rails across African markets.
