The Biodun and Ibikunle Foundation (BIF) has officially opened the application window for its flagship SEEDINVEST Acceleration Program 2026. Explicitly curated to scale grassroots commercial productivity, the initiative targets promising Nigerian nano, micro, and small-scale business owners with zero-fee technical training, industry mentorship, and capital infrastructure assets. Recognizing the severe credit and machinery bottlenecks that commonly choke early-stage businesses across Nigeria, the foundation is offering high-performing participants capital equipment grants valued at up to ₦5 million to directly expand production or retail lines.
The selected cohort will undergo an intensive 6-week online corporate growth program, combining digital masterclasses, fiscal management tracking, and strategic business advisory support. Crucially, organizers have clarified that the ₦5 million capital allocation is delivered strictly as non-cash asset grants—such as industrial food processing machines, retail equipment, textiles machinery, or logistics tools—ensuring the capital is directly deployed into the business. The initiative is entirely sector-agnostic, though all prospective applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged between 22 and 45 who possess a registered Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) profile, a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN), an active commercial business bank account, and a comprehensive 5-year corporate growth plan. Applications for the 2026 cycle will remain open until July 24, 2026
