Chukwuebuka Michael Odo, founder of eGP and creator of Oversabi AI, has called on Nigerian youths to focus on building technology solutions that create value, impact communities, and expand opportunities for underserved groups.
Odo, a Nigerian techpreneur based in the United Kingdom, was recently honoured with the Innovative Leadership Award by the Raise the Boy Child Initiative. The organisation recognised him for empowering boys in disadvantaged communities with digital skills and for developing tools that address critical social gaps.
In its citation, the NGO commended Odo’s commitment to practical innovation, highlighting Oversabi AI — a culturally tailored learning platform — and eGP, a digital healthcare solution that improves access to medical consultations. “Through these initiatives, you have demonstrated creativity, leadership, and a commitment to solving real-world problems,” said Chiedu Amalu, the group’s secretary.
Speaking after the recognition, Odo described the award as humbling but emphasised that his projects represent more than innovation. “Oversabi AI and eGP are expanding opportunities and improving quality of life in tangible ways. My work is about creating solutions that deliver equal access and long-term impact, not chasing hype,” he said.
The techpreneur’s message to young Nigerians was clear: innovation should not only aim for scale but also respond to community needs, bridging gaps in education, healthcare, and opportunity.
