Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC) has concluded its annual Harvesters Entrepreneurship Forum (HEF), a full-day gathering designed to equip entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders with actionable insights for navigating Nigeria’s dynamic business environment.
Held under the theme “Scaling Businesses with Strategy, Spirit, and Structure,” the forum provided a clear roadmap for founders seeking sustainable growth, operational stability, and strategic clarity.
Participants from sectors including technology, agriculture, corporate leadership, finance, and the creative industry engaged in sessions led by accomplished industry experts. Conversations centered on innovation, market positioning, business process design, and the realities of building resilient corporate structures in an evolving economy.
Speakers addressed the growing pressure of operational costs, unpredictable markets, and the increasing necessity for data-driven decision-making. The sessions emphasized enabling entrepreneurs to move beyond ideas by adopting frameworks that support execution, scalability, and long-term planning.
A consistent message throughout the forum was that true business scale requires more than technical capability. HEF underscored the interplay between Strategy, Structure, and Spirit, highlighting how personal grounding shapes leadership, decision-making, and overall business outcomes. Many attendees noted that the discussions provided clarity on persistent challenges while renewing their sense of direction and motivation.
The event also featured a business pitch segment, where selected founders presented expansion-ready ideas. One venture secured funding to support its next growth phase.
Dr. David Onabanjo, CEO of Harvesters, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment, stating that entrepreneurs remain central to national progress and can create lasting impact when supported with the right frameworks and values.
With this year’s success, HICC encouraged business owners to prepare for the 2026 edition of the Harvesters Entrepreneurship Forum.
Founded in 2003, HICC now operates across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Through its non-profit arm, the Harvesters Africa Empowerment Foundation (HAEF), the organisation continues to drive initiatives in education, entrepreneurship support, food assistance, and aid to internally displaced persons.
