Globacom has launched new data roaming services, offering flexible and affordable roaming bundles for Nigerians traveling abroad or residing overseas. These bundles, available in 40 countries, are designed to keep Glo subscribers connected with family, friends, and business engagements, no matter where they are.
According to the company, “These roaming bundles allow our customers to share moments with loved ones, stay active on social media, and handle business tasks efficiently, regardless of their location.”
The bundles cater to various needs, with options including 50MB for N2,500 (valid for 3 days), 6GB for N50,000 (valid for 60 days), and other plans like N5,000 for 125MB (7 days), N10,000 for 1GB (10 days), and N25,000 for 2.5GB (30 days).
Subscribers can easily purchase the bundles by dialing *312# and selecting option 5. Bundles can be activated before departure or upon arrival at the destination.
Prepaid customers will automatically have roaming services activated, while postpaid users need to enable the service before purchasing a bundle. Validity begins when browsing starts in the destination country.
To avoid unexpected charges, Globacom recommends customers connect to specific networks listed on its website. Connecting to non-recommended networks will result in Pay-As-You-Go charges.
Additionally, the company provides timely notifications to keep customers updated on their data usage and remaining balance.
These roaming bundles are available across 46 networks in 40 countries, including key destinations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, the UAE, South Africa, and Brazil.
