A game-changing opportunity is here for young Nigerian women — She Leads Africa (SLA) has officially launched the Young Nigeria Works Program, a powerful initiative aimed at equipping women aged 18 to 35 with the skills, resources, and confidence needed to thrive in the workforce or grow successful businesses.

In collaboration with The African Talent Company (TATC), training as Jobberman, the program kicks off this April 2025 and promises free access to expert-led courses, live mentorship, job placement support, business development tools, and funding opportunities — all tailored to the unique challenges faced by women in today’s competitive landscape.

Breaking Barriers, One Skill at a Time

For many young Nigerian women, the journey to economic independence is riddled with hurdles — from limited access to relevant training to a lack of structured career pathways. The SLA Young Nigeria Works Program tackles these head-on, offering a flexible and inclusive learning environment designed to build both skill and confidence.

Here’s What Participants Can Expect:

Free Skill-Building Courses
Learn from industry experts in areas such as:

  • Digital marketing

  • Video editing

  • E-book writing

  • Graphic design

  • Data analysis

  • Leadership

  • Business management

Job Placement & Career Support
Top-performing participants will receive career guidance, interview preparation, and direct links to job opportunities through SLA’s and TATC’s partner networks.

Business Growth & Funding
Women with entrepreneurial aspirations will gain access to grant opportunities and funding support, with guidance on pitching, business planning, and securing both local and international investments for women-led enterprises.

An Empowering Community
Join a supportive network of like-minded women, mentors, and change-makers. Learn, grow, and succeed alongside peers who share your vision for success.

A Word from the Organizers

“We are incredibly excited to launch the SLA Young Nigeria Works Program and provide real solutions for the challenges young Nigerian women face,” said Iquo Oyekunle, Chief Operations Officer at She Leads Africa. “This initiative is about equipping women with the right tools, skills, and networks to step confidently into their careers or businesses.”

Partnering for Impact: TATC x SLA

With The African Talent Company (TATC), training as Jobberman, on board as a strategic partner, the program benefits from deep expertise in talent development and workforce readiness. TATC brings a wealth of experience in bridging the gap between skills and opportunity, ensuring participants are well-positioned for success in Nigeria’s evolving job market.

“We’re proud to collaborate on this transformative journey,” said a TATC representative. “Together, we’re helping young women turn potential into power.”

How to Apply

Enrollment is now open! If you’re a young Nigerian woman ready to transform your career or business, visit the SLA website and take the first step toward your future.
