Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially married his longtime partner and mother of his children, Chioma Rowland, in a grand white wedding held in Miami, Florida, USA.
The glamorous ceremony took place at the prestigious Mana Wynwood Convention Center and attracted an exclusive guest list of Nigerian celebrities, top business moguls, and political heavyweights.
Davido made a show-stopping entrance in a custom white Lamborghini Revuelto, which he revealed was a personal gift to himself. Chioma arrived in equal grandeur, chauffeured in a pristine white Rolls Royce, her face veiled as she walked gracefully down the aisle.
The groom looked sharp in a tailored brown tuxedo, while Chioma dazzled in a stunning traditional white gown. The celebration was a star-studded affair, with the wedding party featuring notable names from the Nigerian entertainment and business world.
Davido’s groomsmen included his manager Asa Asika, cousin Bayo Adeleke (B-Red), talent manager Ubi Franklin, and UFC champion Kamaru Usman. Distinguished guests in attendance included nightlife mogul Obi Cubana, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, billionaire Aliko Dangote, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Abia State Governor Alex Otti, and business tycoon Sayuu Dantata. Others in attendance were businessman Ikuku Michael, Hollywood actor Djimon Hounsou, and American gospel artist Kirk Franklin.
Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, led a high-profile entourage of family and friends to the occasion. The wedding service was conducted by three eminent clergymen — Joseph Adebisi Ola, retired president of the Seventh-Day Adventist Nigeria Union Mission; Tunde Ojewole, senior pastor of Lane Region Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist in Indianapolis; and David Olubukola Ajide, senior pastor of Victory Sanctuary, Seventh-Day Adventist, Lekki. Notably, the trio had also officiated the wedding of Davido’s late mother, Veronica, and his father years ago.
In a romantic gesture, Davido presented Chioma with a Richard Mille wristwatch valued at $300,000, adding yet another touch of luxury to an already unforgettable celebration.
