In a bold response to Nigeria’s growing mental health crisis, two leading wellness organizations are launching REJUVENATE 2025 — a national wellbeing and mental health conference and roadshow set to take place from June 25 to July 19 across key locations in the country.
Organized by the Recharge Life Centre and Whole Women Community, both accredited institutions recognized by international and national counseling bodies, the initiative is designed to promote emotional resilience and psychological healing — particularly among women and youth, two of the country’s most vulnerable demographics.
With economic hardship and social stressors fueling emotional instability, the program seeks to provide practical, community-based solutions. This year’s theme, REJUVENATE, highlights the urgency of mental health support and the power of targeted outreach.
“REJUVENATE 2025 is not just another conference — it’s a movement to revive mental strength and rebuild emotional health across Nigeria,” said Mrs. Ediri Ose-Ediale, Executive Director of the Recharge Life Centre.
In collaboration with the University of Lagos, the Traders and Small Business Association (Ifo), and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Region 3, the event will unfold in four major phases:
-
June 25: Teens Mental Health & Emotional Intelligence Event – International School Lagos
-
July 8: Mind Hack Experience – Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, University of Lagos
-
July 9: Women’s Mental Wellbeing Conference – University of Lagos
-
July 19: Health & Business Day – Abigael Omotayo Event Centre, Ifo
With a reach expected to exceed 6,000 attendees, all sessions will be delivered at no cost to the public — requiring only prior registration.
For over a decade, the organizing bodies have been at the forefront of mental health advocacy and education. Through this campaign, they continue their mission to make psychological wellness accessible to all, breaking stigma and offering hope where it’s most needed.
