The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) has praised the Katsina State Government for disbursing N250.7 million in loans to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the state.
In a statement, SMEDAN’s Director-General and CEO, Charles Odii, congratulated the Katsina State Enterprises Development Agency (KASEDA) for launching the initiative in partnership with Sterling Bank.
Odii highlighted that the initiative is a significant step forward in advancing Governor Dikko Radda’s commitment to the sustainable growth of small businesses in the state, offering them inclusive and affordable access to crucial resources and opportunities.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with KASEDA and the Katsina State Government as we work to foster the growth of MSMEs,” Odii said. “We hope this initiative inspires other states to replicate this model of effective collaboration between government, financial institutions, and the private sector to enhance access to finance for SMEs.”
