Zinkite Group, founded in 2023 by Liberty Okordo, has grown from a simple idea into a dual-force brand that blends offline convenience with online opportunity through Zinkite Declutter and Zinkite Exchange.
The idea was born from frustration. After relocating to a new home, Okordo struggled to sell perfectly good furniture in his local community. The few interested buyers offered far below value, and most simply weren’t looking. Left with no better option, he gave the items away—a turning point that inspired a bold solution.
“That moment showed me how hard it was to resell valuable items in Warri,” Okordo recalls. “So, I decided to build something that made it easy for anyone to sell their used goods—fast.”
That “something” became Zinkite Declutter, a service that eliminates the hassle of peer-to-peer selling. Sellers simply list their items, receive instant payment, and enjoy doorstep pickup—while Zinkite resells those products at pocket-friendly prices to quality-conscious buyers. It’s a win-win system that has rapidly gained traction across Delta State.
But Okordo didn’t stop there. Long before Zinkite Declutter, he had dabbled in cryptocurrency trading under Libatrade Services. In 2023, he merged that venture into the Zinkite brand as Zinkite Exchange, turning his once-local business into a broader ecosystem that connects tangible and digital markets.
Today, Zinkite Group operates as a unified brand combining secondhand commerce, crypto trading, and community empowerment. Through the ZKD Affiliates Program, anyone—especially students or unemployed youths—can earn passive income by promoting product listings on social media. It’s a simple model that turns digital activity into financial opportunity.
“We’re building a community of earners,” says Okordo. “You don’t need capital or inventory to start—just your phone and consistency.”
Born and raised in Sapele, Delta State, Okordo completed his WAEC in 2016 and studied Information Technology at the Youth Center in Sapele. Though still early in his entrepreneurial journey, his reputation for innovation and reliability has made him one of Delta’s emerging startup voices.
Zinkite’s impact extends beyond profit. In 2024, the company took part in the Fitness Fusion Fiesta, promoting health, networking, and youth engagement. And with a mobile app in development, Zinkite plans to merge all its services—buying, selling, crypto exchange, and e-commerce—into one seamless platform.
