This October, Lagos will host the 2025 edition of The Executive Woman Summit (TEWS), an annual leadership gathering designed to empower women navigating the demands of high-level careers.
Scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, in Victoria Island, the summit will convene top executives, entrepreneurs, and rising leaders from sectors including finance, technology, healthcare, law, and media. The central theme for this year, “Leading from Within: An Authentic Approach to Leadership,” underscores the need for resilience, clarity, and purpose in modern leadership.
A Vision Rooted in Experience
Convener Bola Matel-Okoh, founder of BMO Advisory Services and the Women’s Lifestyle Hub, said the event reflects lessons drawn from decades of experience at senior leadership levels and as an executive coach.
“This summit is both a shield against burnout and a platform for self-mastery,” Matel-Okoh explained. “We are preparing women leaders to thrive by reconnecting with authenticity and building communities of strength.”
Voices of Influence
This year’s line-up features a powerful roster of speakers, including:
-
Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo, former Second Lady of Nigeria
-
Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, Founder, The Chair Centre Group
-
Oluyemisi Edun, Managing Director, FCMB
-
Joke Bakare, Founder & MD, MedPlus Pharmacy
Sessions will explore strategies for navigating complex socio-economic environments, reinventing leadership, and sustaining influence in dynamic industries.
Beyond the Boardroom
While the core of the programme is rooted in professional growth, TEWS also integrates well-being and lifestyle experiences, including live performances, comedy, cocktails, and exhibitions—reinforcing the idea that sustainable leadership requires balance.
Participation
Both in-person and virtual registration are open, with executive packages available for premium access.
Matel-Okoh concluded that the summit is more than an event: “It is a commitment to redefining leadership for women across Africa—an invitation to rise, lead, and leave legacies built on authenticity.”
