In a bold move to bolster Nigeria’s entrepreneurial landscape, Stewardship Consulting LLC has announced the launch of the Ishoji Oroale Leadership Growth Camp, a two-day program designed to equip Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with vital leadership skills to navigate and succeed in today’s complex economy.
The inaugural camp will take place on August 15–16, 2025, in Lagos, bringing together over 150 participants from across Nigeria. Under the theme “Leadership: Essential Skills for Organisational Growth,” the program is set to deliver impactful, hands-on learning to entrepreneurs, professionals, and future business leaders who play a crucial role in driving the nation’s economic development.
Mr. Ishoji Oroale, Principal Consultant at Stewardship Consulting LLC and the camp’s convener, shared that the initiative addresses a significant leadership gap within Nigeria’s MSME and young professional sectors.
“Our goal with this camp is to bridge the gap in leadership capacity,” said Oroale. “We aim to equip participants with practical, actionable strategies that will not only help them scale their businesses but also advance their careers with clarity and renewed energy.”
Participants will engage in interactive sessions led by top executives, business strategists, legal professionals, and leadership coaches. Key topics will include Leadership Mastery, Business Growth Strategies, Financial Management and Access to Funding, and Strategic Planning for Sustainable Structures. Additionally, there will be tracks on Sales and Marketing Techniques, High-Performance Team Building, and Personal and Professional Growth.
One of the unique features of the camp is its post-event support, which will provide mentorship and opportunities for networking with investors, thought leaders, and other industry professionals.
“This camp is more than just a training session,” Oroale emphasized. “It’s a movement to cultivate socially responsible leaders who are equipped to drive national progress.”
To ensure inclusivity and broaden access, particularly for startups and small businesses, the program has been subsidized. Early bird registration is priced at N55,000, while regular registration costs N75,000, with a limited number of slots available. Partners, including Elisha Development and Humanitarian Foundation, Rainbow Charismatic Centre, The Father’s Family, and Envoy Logistics, have already pledged their support for the camp.
The timing of this camp is crucial, as MSMEs in Nigeria face numerous challenges, including limited access to capital, poor management practices, and unpredictable market conditions. Despite constituting over 90% of Nigeria’s businesses, MSMEs contribute less than 50% to the country’s GDP, a disparity the camp aims to address by fostering strong leadership within these enterprises.
Corporate organizations and stakeholders are also invited to sponsor or collaborate with the initiative to further promote entrepreneurship and contribute to Nigeria’s national transformation.
