Lagos, Nigeria – October 2, 2025:  In a vibrant Independence Day celebration, Sony unveiled  the expansion of its ULT POWER SOUND series, designed to make you feel like you have dived into the front row of the arena. The newly launched party speakers includes the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5, ULT Field 3 and ULTMIC1, held at an exclusive launch event hosted at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel, Ikeja.

Designed for personal, home, and on-the-go listening, the lineup combines festival-level bass, portability, and smart connectivity to match Nigeria’s energetic lifestyle. The launch drew influencers, top media houses, lifestyle and tech bloggers, as well as industry partners for live demonstrations, and curated listening sessions and a chance to win exclusive giveaways.

The introduction builds on Sony’s 2024 debut of the ULT Power Sound series in Nigeria, which broadened its high-power portable audio footprint. With the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5 and ULT Field 3, Sony is bringing that same immersive sound into compact, lifestyle-ready designs.

The event kicked off with a welcome reception at 7 PM, where attendees were treated to cocktails and canapés.

The evening’s activities were hosted by a lively hype man, Toppy Banks and featured a captivating performance by a karaoke guitarist, DwinTheStoic and Pdatruth., blending music and product insights that highlighted the exceptional benefits of the ULT Power Sound series.

Jobin Joejoe, Managing Director, Sony Middle East and Africa said: Nigeria’s Independence Day is a moment of pride, unity and celebration, and we could not think of a better occasion to introduce the new additions to the ULT Power Sound series. Music is at the heart of Nigerian culture, and with the ULT Tower 9, ULT Field 5 and ULT Field 3, we’re delivering sound experiences that match the nation’s vibrant spirit,  powerful, portable, and ready to move with you. At Sony, we are committed to bringing innovations that not only elevate entertainment but also connect deeply with the lifestyles of our customers here in Nigeria.

Special guests and influencers in attendance, such as Jayonair, Sheggz, Meshkiey, Munachiabi, Pretty Precious, Oluwaseunayo, Tomiwa Jonathan, Mmesoma, Legendary Ben, and Victoria King, added star power to the event. Their presence further amplified the evening’s excitement, with many sharing live updates and behind-the-scenes moments with their followers across social media, sparking online buzz around the product launch.

Adding a fun twist to the evening, attendees participated in a karaoke and quiz, where business partners had the chance to demonstrate their moves and compete for exciting prizes. The winners were announced with much fanfare, adding to the event’s energy.

Dinner and drinks continued throughout the evening, giving guests ample time to network, enjoy the products, and discuss potential business collaborations.
