In an era defined by economic uncertainty and shifting social realities, one message stood out loud and clear at the Business Balance & Beyond Xclusive 2025 Summit held in Port Harcourt — “Find a problem, solve it, and the money will follow.”

That simple, yet profound statement came from Ella Chioma Ezeadilieje, popularly known as Veronica’s Daughter — a renowned entrepreneur, thought leader, and founder of the Business Balance & Beyond movement. Her voice carried not just conviction, but a deep understanding of what it means to build purpose, resilience, and wealth in today’s Nigeria.

A Mindset Shift: From Waiting on Government to Creating Value

Delivering her keynote address themed “Level Up: The 360 Life,” Ezeadilieje challenged Nigerians — especially women and young professionals — to take charge of their destinies through entrepreneurship, innovation, and lifelong learning.

“We often say, ‘The government will do this or that.’ But the truth is, the government cannot meet everyone’s needs — we are too many,” she said. “That’s why entrepreneurship is rising. We’re creating value, solving problems, and building dynasties along the way.”

Her message resonated strongly among attendees — a vibrant mix of business leaders, startup founders, and homemakers — who gathered to learn how to balance ambition, health, relationships, and leadership in pursuit of a fulfilling life.

Redefining Entrepreneurship for Nigerian Women

Ezeadilieje’s speech struck a particularly emotional chord with women who had paused their careers for family life.

“Some of you were once ambitious — full of ideas — but life happened. Marriage, children, responsibilities. You never planned to stop; you just got stuck. But there’s a way out,” she told the crowd.

She urged women to reclaim their purpose by investing an hour daily in personal growth. “If you want to master a skill, study an hour every day. Consistency compounds,” she said. “Even your pain can become power — let it birth something meaningful.”

To her, entrepreneurship is more than business; it’s therapy, transformation, and legacy-building combined. “Don’t waste your pain,” she added. “Turn it into something that serves others.”

The Case for Youth and Women Empowerment

Adding to the discussion, Hasantu Adegbite, a women’s economic empowerment specialist, emphasized the need to prioritize youth and women in Nigeria’s development agenda.

“Nigeria has one of the largest youth populations in the world,” Adegbite noted. “If we invest in skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship — especially among women — we won’t just build individuals, we’ll build a stronger economy.”

She highlighted how productive citizens naturally create ripple effects in economic growth through local manufacturing, service innovation, and export potential. “The moment citizens become creators rather than consumers, national wealth multiplies,” she added.

Building Systems, Not Chaos

Business strategist Olushola Olaleye also took the stage, stressing that successful enterprises must operate with structure, purpose, and discipline.

“Every business needs a personal policy — a rule that guides decisions,” he said. “Purpose isn’t just about what you can do, but what you won’t do. Don’t eat your seeds — plant them. Build systems that run even when you’re not there.”

He challenged entrepreneurs to lead by example, cultivating a “spirit of excellence” that flows from leadership down to staff.

Wellness Meets Enterprise

In an unexpected yet refreshing turn, digital health advocate Dr. Chinonso Egemba — widely known as Aproko Doctor — reminded participants that health is the foundation of success.

“Stress isn’t always bad,” he said. “But you must manage it. Exercise, especially weightlifting, keeps your muscles strong and your bones healthy as you age. You can’t grow your business if you neglect your body.”

Energy, Inspiration, and Community

One of the event’s highlights came from Frank Somtochukwu Okonkwo, popularly known as El Classico — a charismatic sales and marketing expert who electrified the audience with practical lessons on closing deals and building customer trust.

His interactive session ended with a surprise iPhone XR giveaway, sponsored personally by him — a symbolic gesture underscoring the summit’s theme of generosity and empowerment through value creation.

The Bigger Picture: Building Balanced Lives

The Port Harcourt event attracted hundreds of participants from across Rivers State and beyond, creating a melting pot of entrepreneurs, professionals, and thought leaders committed to redefining success through balance.

Founded by Ezeadilieje, the Business Balance & Beyond initiative continues to inspire Nigerians to pursue holistic success — blending wealth, health, relationships, and purpose.

Her closing message captured the spirit of the gathering:

“You don’t need perfect circumstances to start. You only need courage, curiosity, and the will to make a difference. Solve problems, serve people, and success will chase you.”

A New Generation of Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs

As the 2025 edition of Business Balance & Beyond Xclusive drew to a close, one truth became evident — Nigeria’s entrepreneurial awakening isn’t just about business. It’s about transformation.

Through voices like Ella Chioma Ezeadilieje’s, women and youth are discovering that success is not a privilege — it’s a choice made daily through innovation, resilience, and balance.

And with leaders like her paving the way, that choice is becoming an attainable reality for thousands across the nation.
