Nigeria’s creative and entrepreneurial spirit will take center stage at the upcoming Naija Brands Trade Expo 2025, an event dedicated to showcasing indigenous products and empowering local businesses to thrive in the national and global marketplace.
In a statement by Babatunde Karunwi, Group Managing Director of LENJI Group, the organisers said the expo seeks to promote homegrown innovation under the theme “Promoting Indigenous Products as a Catalyst for National Economic Growth.”
According to Karunwi, the initiative goes beyond a typical trade fair — it’s a strategic movement designed to boost confidence in Nigerian-made goods, encourage local consumption, and strengthen the country’s economic resilience. “The Naija Brands Trade Expo represents a renewed commitment to the ‘Buy Nigerian’ agenda, opening doors for investment, innovation, and sustainable economic transformation,” he noted.
The event’s key objectives include energising domestic markets, creating new platforms for SMEs, and providing visibility for locally made products that reflect Nigeria’s creativity and craftsmanship. Organisers say the expo will serve as a launchpad for entrepreneurs to connect with consumers, investors, and policymakers.
A highlight of the programme will be a high-level seminar and exhibition, where thought leaders and industry experts will discuss strategies for improving local patronage, financial inclusion, and export readiness. The expo will also feature product showcases from both startups and established companies.
To strengthen financial access, organisers have partnered with several banks and financial institutions to offer on-site account openings, PoS terminals, and support services for exhibitors — a move expected to enhance digital and financial inclusion across small businesses.
With a clear vision to make it an annual flagship event, the Naija Brands Trade Expo 2025 aims to reaffirm national pride, encourage collaboration, and celebrate Nigeria’s entrepreneurial excellence.
