The 2025 Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair is set to become Nigeria’s largest trade and commerce gathering, with expectations to reach N5 billion in sales, feature over 220 vendors, and attract an estimated 75,000 attendees over three days.
The second edition of this exciting event is a partnership between Naija Brand Chick and the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, with a focus on leveraging entertainment to boost trade. The fair will be held from Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13 at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Government Commitment to SMEs
Mr. Idris Aregbe, the Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs through initiatives like the Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair.
He emphasized the essence of tourism in fostering local economies through buying, selling, and landscape development, with a goal of job creation, poverty reduction, and SME growth. Aregbe further highlighted that this edition of the fair would be bigger and better, incorporating an Online Deals Spot to extend its reach and accessibility.

The CEO of Naija Brand Chick, Nelly Agbogu, expressed her excitement for the 2025 edition, emphasizing that Lagos provides a perfect platform for business growth. She acknowledged the fair’s role in transforming lives and empowering small businesses, adding that the Lagos State Government’s support has been crucial in making these events successful.

The 2024 edition of the fair received positive feedback from vendors, many of whom shared their success stories through online platforms. Notably, the Sanwo-Naira initiative (a unique means of exchange) and the Lagos Corner, which offered free participation to small businesses with limited resources, were key highlights.
