The Lagos Angel Network (LAN) has successfully concluded the Lagos Angel Fellowship Cohort Finale & Investors Induction Ceremony, held on Tuesday, 9th December 2025, at the Continental Re Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. The event marked a historic moment for Nigeria’s early-stage investment ecosystem, bringing together founders, investors, ecosystem leaders, and partners to celebrate the growth of angel investing in the country.
The ceremony showcased two major achievements:

The completion of the inaugural Lagos Angel Fellowship Program, delivered in collaboration with the African Angel Academy. The fellowship equipped emerging investors with critical skills, frameworks, and global best practices required to make informed early-stage investment decisions.

The official induction of new angel investors into the Lagos Angel Network, expanding LAN’s community and strengthening its commitment to mobilizing local capital for high-potential Nigerian startups.

The Lagos Angel Network also acknowledged the unwavering support of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), whose partnership continues to accelerate capacity-building and ecosystem development in Nigeria.
Speaking after the ceremony, program lead Dr. Solomon King described the event as a milestone for the network and the broader innovation community:
