Jimoh Ibrahim, the senator for Ondo South Senatorial District and the chairman/chief executive officer of Global Fleet Group, has been announced as one of the keynote speakers for the Cambridge Africa Business Conference (CABC), set to take place on May 17, 2025 at the prestigious Cambridge Jude Business School.
Since its inception in 2012, CABC has become a renowned platform for Africa’s most innovative thinkers, industry leaders, and global influencers. This year’s conference promises to be no different, bringing together a powerful lineup of visionaries who are shaping the future of the African business landscape.
The conference organizers highlighted the dynamic transformation Africa is undergoing: “Africa will not be defined by the challenges it faces, but by the ingenuity, resilience, and ambition of those driving its future,” they stated. This year’s theme, “Africa Tomorrow: Driving Innovation, Growth, and Global Influence,” will focus on the continent’s emerging role as a hub for global business, innovation, and investment.
As a leading voice in the business world, Jimoh Ibrahim’s presence at the conference is highly anticipated. Ibrahim, who holds an LLB from Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and a combined LLM and Master’s in International Taxation from Harvard University, has built an extensive portfolio across multiple sectors. His investments span oil & gas distribution, hospitality, airlines, banking, real estate, and more.
“Africa is at an inflection point, and the conference will highlight how we push boundaries and shape Africa’s global role,” said the conference organizers. “If you’re serious about the future of business in Africa, this is the event to attend.”
The CABC continues to play a critical role in catalyzing conversations around Africa’s future, providing a forum for the continent’s business elite to discuss key strategies for growth and global influence.
