Ihifix Digital Technologies has announced a bold mission to establish Africa’s most expansive business movement after successfully training over 15,000 entrepreneurs in 2025. The milestone was unveiled at the Afriscale 2025 Conference in Kaduna, where a diverse assembly of investors, tech leaders, and policymakers explored the future of the continent’s economy under the theme: “Scaling with Intelligence: How AI Is Powering Africa’s Next-Generation Businesses.”
The movement aims to prove that African enterprises are already globally competitive, provided they bridge the gap between manual operations and automated systems.
The Afriscale Philosophy: Optimization Over Entry-Level
Unlike traditional workshops, Afriscale 2025 targeted established business owners rather than beginners. Convener Emmanuel Odeh Adikpe explained that the focus is on “connecting the dots” for entrepreneurs who already have products but lack the infrastructure to scale without ballooning their overhead costs.
-
Systemic Optimization: Tweaking existing business models to improve sales and marketing.
-
International Reach: The movement has gained traction beyond Nigeria, drawing participants from the UK, USA, and across the African continent.
-
Structural Integrity: Speakers emphasized that while AI is a powerful tool, it requires a “solid foundation” of internal discipline and problem-solving to be effective.
Practical AI: Turning Manual Labor into Digital Leverage
A core component of the Ihifix movement is the demystification of Artificial Intelligence. Instead of theoretical concepts, the training provided business-ready applications:
-
Automation & Chatbots: Replacing repetitive manual tasks with digital assistants to handle customer inquiries 24/7.
-
Targeted Advertising: Using AI for advanced customer segmentation and data-driven ad placement.
-
Customer Intelligence: Utilizing algorithms to understand exactly where a customer is in their buying journey to gain market leverage.
Scaling Beyond the Classroom
To ensure the training translates into immediate growth, Ihifix and its partners are providing a suite of “Scale-Up” resources for selected participants:
-
Seed Funding: Direct capital injections for high-potential ventures.
-
Digital Infrastructure: Providing branding support, professional websites, and e-commerce setups.
-
Government Advocacy: Leaders at the event, including Musa Bello (SA on IT to the Kaduna Governor) and Eugenia Ndukwe, called for a more supportive fiscal environment, specifically citing the need for reduced taxes and expanded funding for scalable ideas.
As Afriscale evolves into a permanent support movement, its mission remains clear: to empower African entrepreneurs to work smarter—not harder—by adopting the tools of the fourth industrial revolution.
