The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) is set to host its highly anticipated 2025 Annual National Conference, where real estate professionals and industry stakeholders will gather to explore key topics surrounding real estate investment, transformation, and success in the sector.
This year’s conference will delve into strategies for optimizing real estate finance and taxation, offering sustainable solutions for the industry’s growth and future development.
According to Victor Adekunle Alonge, National Conference President and Chairman of Council, NIESV, the event will bring together estate surveyors, valuers, and other prominent figures from the Nigerian real estate industry, as well as participants from the diaspora. The conference is designed to provide a platform for dialogue and collaboration among those shaping the real estate landscape in Nigeria.
Themed ‘Transform, Invest, Thrive: Optimizing Real Estate Finance and Taxation,’ the 2025 NIESV conference aims to set the foundation for long-term economic growth and stability, with a strong emphasis on the real estate sector’s potential to drive national development.
In a statement issued by Richard Olodu, the National Publicity Secretary of NIESV, it was revealed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour. Godswill Akpabio, the President of the 10th Senate, and several other high-ranking government officials will also attend as Guests of Honour. These include Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, Minister of Housing, and Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
Notable figures from both the public and private sectors will share their expertise on the conference’s central theme, providing insights from both national and international perspectives.
The 55th National Annual Conference and AGM of NIESV will take place from Monday, May 5th, 2025, to Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja.
In addition to the conference, Zaccheaus Adelabu Adedeji, Special Adviser to the President on Revenue and Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), will serve as the keynote speaker, offering valuable perspectives on the future of real estate finance and taxation.
