In a bold move to empower small businesses and energize the creative economy, Ecobank Nigeria is taking the lead with its vibrant “Oja Oge by Ecobank” initiative—a dynamic pop-up marketplace designed to showcase and support fashion, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle entrepreneurs.
Following the resounding success of its inaugural edition, the bank has announced the return of Oja Oge, with the second edition scheduled to hold at the ultra-modern Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Lagos from April 18–20, 2025.
Empowering Creatives and SMEs
Oja Oge is not just an event—it’s a platform for discovery, networking, and growth. It is expected to host over 100 exhibitors, offering them visibility, sales opportunities, and access to a broader customer base that includes local consumers and international visitors.
“Oja Oge by Ecobank is a one-stop marketplace for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle businesses,” said Omoboye Odu, Head of SME, Partnerships, and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria.
She noted that the fair is a chance for entrepreneurs, creatives, and emerging brands to step into the spotlight and grow their customer base in a fun, supportive environment.
Strategic Partnerships
This year’s edition is powered by key collaborations with major brands across various sectors:
- Airtel Nigeria (Telecom)
- Flutterwave (Payments)
- Qatar Airways (Aviation)
- Maltina (FMCG)
These partnerships ensure a holistic, high-quality experience for both vendors and visitors, combining commerce with culture, tech, and entertainment.
A Marketplace With a Purpose
Participation in the event is completely free, emphasizing Ecobank’s commitment to inclusivity and support for grassroots businesses. The event will not only be about buying and selling but will also include:
- Live entertainment and music
- Local and international cuisines
- Interactive networking sessions
- Brand showcases
- Business development opportunities
“For us, as a Pan-African bank, supporting small businesses in this way is a core part of our mission,” Odu emphasized.
A Family-Friendly Affair
Ecobank encourages the public to come with friends and family, promising an immersive experience that blends fashion, luxury, creativity, and culture in one unforgettable weekend.
As the countdown begins to the second edition of Oja Oge, it’s clear that Ecobank Nigeria is doing more than banking—it’s building a vibrant ecosystem for creative minds and small business owners to thrive, connect, and scale across Africa.
