Speaking at the Dangote Special Day during the 2025 Nasarawa Trade Fair Exhibition in Lafia, Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman, Senior Adviser to the President of Dangote Group, emphasized the company’s dedication to empowering small businesses. Her remarks, delivered by Dr. Shuaibu Abdullahi, the group’s National Assembly Liaison Lead, highlighted key partnerships and ongoing initiatives driving grassroots enterprise development.
“Our collaboration with critical economic stakeholders, including the Nigeria Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI) in Nasarawa, is designed to raise awareness and expand the reach of small businesses,” she stated.
N5 Billion MSME Fund to Power One Million Jobs
Central to Dangote’s SME strategy is a groundbreaking N5 billion fund, created through a partnership between the Aliko Dangote Foundation and the Bank of Industry (BoI). This fund aims to generate at least one million direct jobs by supporting MSMEs involved in manufacturing, agro-processing, and the trade of locally produced goods.
