In a spectacular celebration of innovation, grit, and ambition, ALX officially launched its 2025 Ventures Incubator Cohort—an elite selection of startup founders from across Nigeria—while premiering the grand finale of its pan-African “Do Hard Things Challenge” at the Lagos hub.
From tech entrepreneurs tackling community issues to creatives turning bold ideas into global solutions, ALX is championing a new wave of African innovators. The ALX Ventures Incubator marks a major leap forward for graduates of the Founder Academy, offering hands-on mentorship, direct investor access, and the critical resources needed to build scalable, sustainable ventures that can transform the continent.

The new ventures are powered by the same fearless spirit behind the Do Hard Things Challenge—a bold initiative that took ALX across eight African cities in search of the continent’s most resilient and daring entrepreneurs.
The journey spanned Lagos, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Kigali, Accra, Cairo, Casablanca, and Addis Ababa, culminating in a high-stakes finale in Mauritius where top finalists pitched their game-changing ideas. The final showdown was screened live at ALX’s Lagos hub, bringing the electric energy of the continent’s brightest minds straight to Nigeria’s tech and media community.
