Kazeem Tewogbade, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bluechip Technologies Limited, has released his memoir, Unlikely, offering a candid account of his rise from humble beginnings to a leading figure in Nigeria’s technology sector. Launched last week in Lagos, the book details Tewogbade’s journey of perseverance, strategic decision-making, and faith-driven resilience, aimed at inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs across the country.
Speaking on the motivation behind the memoir, Tewogbade stated, “This is not just a story to be told—it is a story to inspire action. Success often appears improbable, but with dedication and purpose, it is attainable.” He emphasized that the book reflects core values of family, mentorship, and intentional living, while navigating the unpredictability of life.
Anchoring his narrative on the principle from Chapter 94, verses 5–6 of the Qur’an, “With every difficulty, there is ease,” Tewogbade illustrates how challenges can become catalysts for growth when met with deliberate choices. Beyond recounting personal experiences, Unlikely offers actionable insights on building strategic partnerships, fostering productive workplace cultures, and developing sustainable business models.
“This memoir is for emerging entrepreneurs and future business leaders,” he said. “It demonstrates how to create ventures that endure beyond their founders and highlights the importance of collaboration in achieving long-term success.”
Proceeds from the book, now available in major bookstores and online platforms including Amazon Kindle, will support educational initiatives, scholarships, and research programs.
Adebola Tewogbade, the author’s wife, described the memoir as a reflection of his determination and a source of motivation for individuals from all walks of life. “When he shared the title, I asked, ‘What is unlikely?’ He explained that young people must understand that every success follows a process. His story exemplifies that,” she noted.
Olumide Soyombo, co-founder of Bluechip Technologies and Tewogbade’s long-time business partner, praised the memoir for revealing a deeper perspective on the tech executive. “I thought I knew Kazeem well, but this book uncovers the experiences, values, and influences that shaped him. Unlikely captures courage, grace, and calculated risk-taking—transforming challenges into opportunities for future generations,” he said. Soyombo also encouraged the Ministry of Education to promote a culture of reading and motivate entrepreneurs to document their journeys as part of Nigeria’s growing entrepreneurial knowledge base.
Similarly, colleague Deborah Elawure lauded Tewogbade’s philosophy on resilience. “He believes that every failed project is a step closer to success. This mindset permeates the book and offers valuable lessons for upcoming business leaders,” she said.
With Unlikely, Kazeem Tewogbade joins a growing cadre of Nigerian entrepreneurs leveraging storytelling to inspire, mentor, and provide a blueprint for turning vision, integrity, and persistence into enduring business legacies.
