At a business summit hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Throne Room Parish in Wuse, Abuja, corporate leaders and clergymen urged Nigerian entrepreneurs to transition away from basic “hustling” toward formal corporate structures. Speaking under the theme “Building Systems and Structures for a Sustainable Business,” the Host Pastor, Emmanuel Mulero, stated that a significant percentage of small business failures stem from a lack of scalable organizational systems rather than a lack of innovative ideas. He challenged business owners to view entrepreneurship as a problem-solving vehicle, noting that companies focused on consistent value delivery and rigorous financial discipline are far more resilient.
The seminar also addressed the crossover between ethical leadership and commercial viability. Corporate consultant Pastor Samuel Ajeigbe emphasized that while strategic networks grant market entry, long-term operational survival requires strict regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and professional integrity. The panel concluded that modern marketplace relevance demands a balanced approach combining spiritual principles with practical capacity building. Participants were urged to aggressively invest in continuous mentorship, cross-industry collaboration, and strategic execution to build enterprises capable of generating employment and driving national economic growth.
