Despite the crowded landscape—with competitors like PartyVest (backed by PiggyVest) and the established ticketing startup Tix—EventPark is optimistic. The startup has already planned ten events and secured $200,000 of a planned $600,000 pre-seed round, benefiting from the backing of seasoned entrepreneurs like Chris Ubosi, CEO of Megaletrics.

EventPark generates revenue primarily through commissions on vendor transactions, supplemented by margins from its BNPL service and in-app promotional placements. The company’s immediate priority is consolidating its presence in Nigeria before pursuing expansion in the fourth quarter of 2026. The founders believe their end-to-end management depth will enable them to capture the market gap left by players who focus narrowly on ticketing or guest lists.
