The legendary “Chapman”—Nigeria’s favorite red cocktail—is officially going corporate and global.

Lagos-based CAADES Group, led by Chairman Dr. Chima Anyaso, has signed a major trade and investment deal with British brothers Mike and Garry Robinson to scale “Ikoyi Chapmans.” The plan is to take the iconic, bittersweet non-alcoholic drink from Lekki to supermarkets and neighborhood stores across the continent.

The story behind the brand is pure nostalgia. The Robinson brothers were born and raised in Nigeria before moving back to the UK. Determined to preserve the taste of their childhood, they spent years developing a bottled, ready-to-drink version of the beverage, which they originally launched in selected British bars.

Now, with the backing of CAADES Group’s deep local distribution network, the drink is heading back to its roots. Within the coming weeks, Ikoyi Chapmans will hit shelves across Nigeria, serving as both a standalone premium beverage and a ready-made mixer for social events.
