A transformative celebration of cultural fusion and economic partnership is set to take place from June 12 to 17, 2025, as St. Kitts and Nevis hosts the rescheduled AFRI-Caribbean Exchange. Under the powerful theme “Two Nations, One Rhythm: Bridging Cultures, Building Futures,” the event underscores an innovative alliance between the Caribbean island nation and Nigeria.

Born from two recently signed agreements in agriculture and the creative economy, the Exchange marks a major step in strengthening Afro-Caribbean relations. Although travel disruptions previously delayed the event, organizers have reaffirmed their commitment, unveiling an even more dynamic program that blends tradition, enterprise, and diplomacy.

The six-day event will feature a diverse lineup of activities aimed at promoting economic empowerment and cultural integration. Highlights include an energetic opening ceremony and business exposition, a spirited international football match between the two nations, and a specialized workshop focused on agriculture, micro-enterprise, and creative industry growth.

Participants will also immerse themselves in the art of Nigerian drumming and dance through a hands-on cultural workshop, offering a rare opportunity to experience Africa’s vibrant traditions firsthand.

As the full schedule of activities is set to be announced soon, the AFRI-Caribbean Exchange stands as more than just a cultural celebration — it is a milestone initiative pushing the boundaries of international cooperation, community development, and shared heritage.
