The Advancing Nutrition Through Female-Led Processing (ANTFem) Program has launched its Cohort 2.0 application round — an empowering initiative dedicated to strengthening women-owned food enterprises across Nigeria.

Spearheaded by Food Health Systems Advisory (FHSA), this program focuses on supporting women entrepreneurs transforming the food processing sector in areas such as dried tomatoes, dried okra, smoked or dried fish, yoghurt, and fura da nono. Participants receive customized guidance covering business growth, financing, technology adoption, digital innovation, mentorship, and market expansion, all designed to build profitable and sustainable food ventures.

 Eligibility Criteria

For Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs):

  • Must be a female-led food processing business with an annual revenue exceeding ₦10 million.

  • Actively engaged in any of the program’s focus value chains.

  • Properly registered with CAC or SMEDAN.

  • Must cater to low-income consumers.

For Business Clusters:

  • Consist of at least 10 female-led micro food enterprises operating in the same value chain.

  • Have a combined turnover between ₦5 million and ₦10 million.

  • Be officially registered with CAC or SMEDAN.

  • Maintain a functional production site and transparent financial records.
